DT. Dobie are the agents for Mercedes, Nissan, Suzuki and Jeep. Given the narrow site, the exterior form of the building has been designed as a quadrant to maximize display area to the main road.
Although much glass has been provided on the elevation, building orientation and heavy vertical and horizontal louvers minimize any solar glare or heat build-up in the showroom. Internally the focus is on natural materials such as local hardwood, veneered plywood panels and fair faced concrete. Exposed services in the showroom give a garage feel to the space. Associate architects were Capy-Joulia from France.
