Off-Shore Tidal Lagoon Visitors Center
It is designed to serve as an intrinsic element of the world’s first man-made energy-generating lagoon, located 3.5 km out into Swansea Bay, UK. The 3,500 square meter center provides an inclusive educational, cultural and leisure experience for all while serving as an icon for the clean energy it represents. The conceptual passive design is fully self-sustaining and reflects the natural forms and features of the oyster, a key part of local heritage.
